It is important for you to get the very best technology that you can afford. I personally used to work for one of the biggest high street retailers, unfortunately I was quoting upto £7000 for the best hearing system we had to sell and I didn't sell many, I would go down in price to the next level of aid at £5000 then down to £3000 and then if I was lucky sell a pair at maybe £2000 that were really really basic, indeed as a company we do not sell these really basic hearing aids. I knew I could offer the £7000 aids at half the price, the £5000 aids at 40% less so my idea was people would be getting the very best but for a lot less, my job was much easier as the quality of the hearing aid and technology was the best, my patients expectations were met so everyone was happy.
